Transmission Service & Repair
Smooth shifts, honest diagnosis, no guesswork.
A transmission that slips, shudders, or shifts hard is rarely just “low on fluid” — it needs a proper diagnosis before any work is done. We service automatic, manual, CVT, and dual-clutch transmissions: fluid and filter changes to manufacturer spec, valve-body and solenoid repair, mount and linkage work, and full diagnostic for shift-quality and warning-light faults. You get a clear quote before we open anything up.

Everything this service covers
ATF flush or drain-and-fill to manufacturer spec — including long-life and CVT fluids.
Slipping, harsh shifts, flares, and torque-converter shudder pinpointed with the right scan tools.
Repair or replace failed shift solenoids and valve bodies — often without a full rebuild.
Worn transmission mounts and shift linkage that mimic internal trouble — found and fixed first.
Specialist service for CVT belts/chains and DCT clutch packs and mechatronic units.
Clutch, flywheel, and hydraulics for manual gearboxes — done with proper alignment and bleed.
Simple, transparent, done right

Good to know
My transmission slips or shifts hard — does it need a rebuild?
Not always. Many shift issues come from worn solenoids, a tired valve body, or even degraded fluid — much cheaper to fix than a full rebuild. We diagnose first and tell you exactly what the transmission actually needs.
How often should transmission fluid be changed?
It depends on your vehicle and how you drive — many manufacturers call for service every 60,000–100,000 miles, and sooner for towing or heavy traffic. We use the exact fluid your transmission requires, not a universal substitute.
Do you service CVT and dual-clutch transmissions?
Yes — CVT (with the correct belt/chain-rated fluid) and dual-clutch (DCT/DSG) including mechatronic and clutch-pack work. These need their own fluids and procedures, and we follow them.
My check-engine light says it’s the transmission — what now?
Bring it in for a full scan. Codes give us a starting point, but the real cause might be electrical, sensor, or mechanical — we test before replacing anything.
Can you replace a clutch on a manual?
Yes — clutch disc, pressure plate, throwout bearing, flywheel resurfacing or replacement, and a full bleed of the hydraulics. We torque to spec so the new clutch lasts.
