Brake Repair & Service
Stop safely — brakes done right the first time.
Your brakes are the most important safety system on your car, and Worcester roads — pothole season, Massachusetts road salt, and the I-290 stop-and-go through downtown — punish them harder than most. We measure pad and rotor wear, road-test for noise and pulling, and quote the work in plain language before we touch anything. The result is quiet, even, confident stopping — not a comeback in three months. Not sure what’s worn? See our guide on when to replace brake pads, rotors, and fluid.

Good to know
How do I know when I need new brakes?
Squealing, grinding, a soft or pulsing pedal, longer stopping distances, or a dash warning light are all signs. The safest answer is a free inspection — we’ll measure everything and show you the numbers.
Do I always need new rotors with pads?
Not always. If your rotors are within spec and not warped, we can often resurface or reuse them. We’ll measure and tell you honestly rather than replacing parts that don’t need it.
How long does a brake job take?
A standard pad-and-rotor service is usually done the same day. We’ll give you a clear timeline when we quote the work.
Why are my brakes squealing or grinding?
A light squeal is often the wear indicator telling you the pads are low; grinding usually means the pads are gone and metal is contacting the rotor. Grinding causes rotor damage fast, so bring it in promptly.
How often should brake fluid be changed?
Most manufacturers recommend a brake-fluid flush every 2–3 years. The fluid absorbs moisture over time, which lowers its boiling point and corrodes calipers and ABS parts.
Do you service brakes on European and performance cars?
Yes — including multi-piston calipers and electronic parking brakes that need a scan tool to retract and service correctly.
